Description
You are invited to the first IAGC and PESBG joint webinar:
Applying Oil and Gas Skills to New Energies: A Conversation on Overall Workforce Strategy in the Post COVID-19 Environment and the Energy Transition
Oil markets coupled with the coronavirus pandemic prompted significant reductions in the industry workforce, shrinking as much as 20% at the end of 2020. Amidst these challenges, the industry is now fully engaged in the energy transition. Decarbonization and digitalization provide both challenges and opportunities for industry companies and those employed by them.
This webinar will discuss the skills the industry will need in the energy transition and how the current workforce can leverage their experience and adapt their skills to new energies to meet those needs.
The session will also explore “the great crew change” and implementing systemic and sustainable workforce approaches that enable companies to emerge with a more agile, innovative talent ecosystem which uses a mix of experienced workers and is attractive to younger talent.
